Essentials of outdoor lighting
The series includes a basic selection of seven different lamps, everything from spotlights, decklights, to party lights and lanterns. Start out small and add more as you go.

1. Get started with the transformer
UNITE 12 – Transformator 12 V 12 W (108648)
Our most affordable transformer for Unite 12 to get you started, just connect it directly to a standard outlet. However, this transformer has a limited maximum capacity of 90% of 12W. With a 12W transformer, you can connect three outdoor lamps with 3W.
UNITE 12 – Transformer 12 V 36 W (108649)
If you want to add more lights to the same outlet, we recommend choosing the 36W transformer from the beginning. With a 36W transformer, you can connect nine lamps with 3W. We recommend not using the full capacity of the transformer, max 80-90% is a good guideline.
2. Choose accessories
If you're looking to split the connection, add a T-connector directly to the transformer. Add extension cables of 2m or 5m between the lamps if necessary. Most lamps are equipped with a shorter cable.
3. Mix and match outdoor lamps
This is where the fun begins. Now you can choose between spotlights, decklights, bollards and other outdoor lamps. All lighting from Unite 12 are compatible with the transformers and accessories from Unite 12.

How durable is Unite 12?
Unite 12 is rated IP44 which means the series is suitable for outdoor use, all year round. The cables can also be buried in the ground since the connectors can withstand both moisture and cold. However, if they are at risk of being submerged, we recommend securing the connections with an IP67 rated tape before burying them.
Which transformer should I choose to Unite 12?
If you want to add more lights to the same outlet, we recommend choosing the 36W transformer from the beginning.
