Description: The Novo bowl is a functional eye-catcher, designed with inspiration from the inviting shapes of ancient amphitheatres. Designed by Joakim Thedin and manufactured in Gothenburg. Produced from the non-toxic and food-safe material Valchromat, Novo works perfectly as a serving bowl. The vase Cono is made from left over materials from making of the bowl Novo.

Valchromate is a through-coloured wood fibre panel where the fibres have been dyed individually, it is a further development of the traditional MDF board. Only organic dyes are used, which makes the panel a good environmental choice.
Valchromate is Foodsafe, more moisture-resistant and can be surface treated with the same oils and lacquers used for traditional wood.
